A higher number of tourists had visited the island in the month of February with that figure recorded as 218,350.

Meanwhile, more than 200,000 tourist arrivals were also reported in the months of January and March.

The majority of foreign tourists visiting the country are from India, Britain, Russia, Germany and China. A total of 1,487,303 tourists had visited the country in 2023.
