The meeting took place between the NPP Leader and ADB Country Director for Sri Lanka , Takafumi Kadono.

The NPP said the meeting took place at the party headquarters of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP).The ADB delegation briefed Dissanayake on the work being carried out by the ADB in Sri Lanka.

According to the NPP, the ADB assured its continued support for Sri Lanka.The meeting took place just hours after Dissanayake signed the nomination papers to contest the Presidential election next month.
