In a lettet to the President, they said that some statements and behaviours of Ven. Gnanasara Thera have been misinterpreted or misinformed by certain democratic bodies of the government by known and unknown elements and also mislabeled with the aim of shutting down the democratic voice of the Thera.

They also listed out the services and rendered by Ven. Gnanasara Thero to establish peace among all followers of their respective religious faiths and to eliminate conflicts that may destroy the country's economic, social, and spiritual platforms.
