The Minister said he would seek Cabinet approval to reopen the missions in Iraq, Frankfurt in Germany and Cyprus.
He also said Sri Lanka would open new missions in New Zealand, Morocco and Rwanda.
Sri Lanka is planning to reopen some of its overseas missions closed down previously in addition to opening new missions, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said.
