Sri Lanka saw a notable increase in workers’ remittances and a boost in tourist arrivals in July 2023, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced.

Price of chicken reduced by Rs. 100

The poultry association has decided to reduce the price of a kilo of chicken by Rs. 100 with immediate effect, Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.
