Air China to resume Colombo flights Featured

Air China will resume their Colombo flights after a lapse of 18 months (due to C-19) from July 3, 2023.The airline would operate three weekly flights to Colombo from Chengdu operating every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando said the move is poised to bolster Chinese arrivals and also will enhance business and cargo connectivity between China and Sri Lanka.

Air China will deploy A330 aircraft with 280 seats including a business class. The General Sales Agent for Air China would be Jetwing Air.

Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a member carrier of the world’s largest airline network - Star Alliance. Its fleet consists of 490 aircraft. (SS)
