An International Center for Rocket Satellite Orbiting to Sri Lanka Featured

Mr. Atula Senaratne, the former professor of Geography Department of University of Peradeniya stated that NASA has identified the lowest point of gravity on the earth as the southern tip of Sri Lanka.

Therefore, he points out that the country has the ability to earn a large amount of foreign exchange by establishing it as an international center for orbiting rockets, satellites, etc. from that place.

He also says that based on this situation, the southern part of Sri Lanka can be promoted as a suitable place for orbiting space shuttles.

He also points out that due to the low gravity, there is the possibility of going to the sky at a low cost in this country.
