Ashburnham Estate lies about an hour’s drive north of Kandy, marginally closer to Matale.
Those heading south from the Cultural Triangle can easily reach Ashburnham Estate en route to Kandy.
From Colombo and the International Airport, the journey time by road is around 4.5 hours.
Train rides from Colombo are a great way to reach Kandy from where we can easily arrange a pickup. The train journey is just under three hours.
