When its founder late Mr. Atul Panabokke, a tea planter by profession, embarked on this project in the early seventies, few would have believed that this venture in a fledgling industry would progress so far. His sons, Jayantha, the Managing Director, and Mohan, have managed to combine traditional with modern, guided by their late mother Dolly, founder director and former chairperson of the company, developing a unique style of management.
